The Uni-Account is vital for almost all online registrations at the university. You need it for your e-mails, PAUL, the administration of your account (service portal), access to network drives and much more.
It is all the more unfortunate to lose your access data, but fortunately you can quickly aquire new credentials.
For legal reasons, the ZIM does not send password emails. Nevertheless, you have several ways to get a new password.
Your options[Bearbeiten | Quelltext bearbeiten]
- Show up in person
- Bring photo ID and student ID if available.
- Have password TAN sent by mail
- Correct address must be on file at the Service Center.
- Special case: guest account
- Have a password link sent to you by your supervisor.
Set new password in person[Bearbeiten | Quelltext bearbeiten]
Please show up with valid photo ID and student ID (if available) in the Notebook Café (BI1.111). During support hours, the helpdesk will be happy to provide you with the possibility to set a new password. This process takes only a few minutes.

Have password TAN sent by mail[Bearbeiten | Quelltext bearbeiten]
- Attention: This process takes several days.
Please write us a short e-mail explaining that you have forgotten your password and that it is not possible for you to come by. We will then create a password TAN and forward it to the Service Center. From there it will be sent to you by mail and will reach you in your mailbox.
Special case: Guest account[Bearbeiten | Quelltext bearbeiten]
You have the option to reset your password in person or you can ask your account manager to send you a password link which will allow you to enter a new password.
